Guiding the Solar Telescope
The Solar Telescope has a guiding system that is clock driven and is impulse through weights held by a chain, gravity moves the clock mechanism, so the Straight Ascension Axis can compensate earth rotation, (in an opposite direction to the earth’s rotation) and keep the image of a celestial object still.
